As I sat and listened to John McCain’s speech as everything was over, I was once again, proud to have voted for him. Although I do not agree with everything he has proposed he has proven to be a man with great character and his words tonight were nothing short of tremendously gracious. He was humble as he always has been, and reminded me once again how proud I am to be an American. I applaud him for his service to our country and for defending my freedoms in ways that bring tears to my eyes. He has been extremely genuine and that has meant more to me as I’ve watched him throughout this race. As we say at our house when we leave, “Make sure you show the love of Jesus today.”…and John McCain did just that tonight. Now, may we continue to pray for our leaders and our nation and show the love of Jesus ouselves. May it be said of us that even though we may disagree, we will not show hate but love. Let us be reminded that God knew this outcome before the beginning of time and it IS all a part of HIS plan. May we continue to proclaim our God is an Awesome God!!! He reigns! Yes, it is HE who reigns.
