Think on things that are lovely

Okay, I’m sure Amy S. is fainting now because this is my fourth entry for the day….so if you are reading to catch up and have gotten behind, please don’t skip the earlier blogs that I wrote today.  But this can’t be ignored…it was too sweet.

This morning Carrie Beth woke up and told me she had had 3 bad dreams.  She didn’t want to share them with me at first but eventually did.  And they were scary dreams for a little girl.  So when she was finished talking about it with me, I said, “I’m sorry sweetie that you had those dreams.”  She said, “How can I stop thinking about them Mommy?”  I said, “Well the bible tells us when we are scared or worried or troubled to ‘think on things that are lovely and beautiful, like Jesus, heaven, the things He does for us and happy things.”  To which she replied, “Okay, I’ll think of Jesus and you Mommy, for you are so lovely.”  After I wiped the tear away you know I had a “Kissy Kissy” fit!   You know, that is to me  a “Kissy, Kissy” from God!!!!!
